Dear Parents and Carers,
Another busy week for students and staff. On top of lots of academic learning, we are busy with lots of planning for events happening before we break for Christmas on Friday 13 December.
Please note that all students will finish school at 2:45pm on Thursday 5 December, to allow us to set up for calendared Year 11 Parent-Teacher meetings that start at 4pm. Thanks for your understanding here.
We hope you have a great weekend and find the following notices informative.
Very best wishes,
Joel Tomasevic - Senior Leader for Communications and Parent Involvement

- As a community, we are participating in the REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR again this year.
A reverse advent calendar is a way to donate items to a food bank or shelter instead of receiving gifts during the run-up to Christmas:
How it works: Instead of opening doors to find treats, you donate items each day to a box. At the end of the month, you can drop off the box at a food bank collection point (we have chosen Arnold Foodbank)
Tutors are asking their students to donate an item, or items, on a particular day.
Here are some awesome boxes tutor groups made last year and a list of what students could donate (only if you can!):
- Year 11 - A reminder to apply for post-16 courses as soon as possible. There are still some open days available; please contact colleges to book your place.
- Year 10 - Work experience - please tell us about your child's placement using this link. A reminder that we need this information by after Christmas CLICK HERE. Thank you to all those that have already done this.
