Dear Parents and Carers,
One more school week until a well earned rest for our students. We have, however, a very busy school week ahead of us.
We wish Mrs Barrett, Mr Hall and Mr Wells a 'buen viaje', as they accompany 28 of our lovely Year 10 students on an exciting educational visit to Barcelona (Monday-Thursday). Year 11 and 13 students are halfway through their mock exams, which finish on Friday. Keep up the hard work, as it will pay off. Many of our Year 7, 8 and 9 students are now engaging with the great lunchtime extracurricular clubs we run. A reminder that these clubs are open to all children in these year groups and will continue after half-term break.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the school and have a great weekend.
Very best wishes,
Dr J Simpson - Head of School
In a gripping encounter at Princethorpe College, it was Nottingham Free School who triumphed 5-1 and booked their place in the National Cup Quarter Final.
The first half started with both teams vying for dominance, and while the pace was quick, it was Princethorpe who struck first. It wasn't long before a sensational NFS team dominated, especially in the second half, and put 5 goals past Princethorpe.
It was a truly outstanding team performance from NFS! Quarter Final…Last 8 in the Country…Dare to Dream…?
