The Art Enrichment Group get creative with wire!
The creative art enrichment group have been busy this half term creating some brilliant wire insects in response to the work of contemporary artist Joel Armstrong. This required a lot of skill as pupils had to think three dimensionally to create a body structure for their piece. Then some pupils chose to make their insects brightly coloured by adding layers of tissue paper and PVA glue. They did really well and some of these will certainly be selected for our big art exhibition in the summer!
