National Poetry Day
Yesterday was National Poetry Day with a theme of freedom. Students took part in poetry based activities in lessons and the Y6 Open Evening included some poetry tasks in the library. In addition, staff have all chosen their favourite poem and they are displayed on doors so students are being introduced to a wide range of poetry. What's your favourite poem? Can you recite any by heart?
