Great start for Spanish students at NFS
Year 7: what an amazing start year 7 have made! We have been learning numbers, greetings, classroom phrases and family members. So many students have already got off to an amazing start with memorising their vocabulary and enthusiasm is exemplary. Well done!
Year 8: we have been learning to talk about who we get on well with, feelings and daily routine. Many year 8s have performed some outstanding Spanish role plays on the topic of making arrangements to out. Keep up the good work!
Year 9: we have embarked on the GCSE course, starting with the topic of holidays and year 9 Spanish students are enjoying the challenge of more complex language. Exciting plans for the trip to Spain are well under way thanks to Mrs Barrett. A great start to the course all round.
Year 10: welcome back to our day ones! So many year 10 Spanish students have impressed with the amount of knowledge they have retained (thanks to their deeply embedded vocabulary learning regimes) and have been doing lots of spontaneous Spanish talk in preparation for the GCSE speaking exams. The first assessments in Spanish take place the week commencing 16th October, on the topic of sport, music and what's trending. Keep up the fantastic work!
Mantén la calma y aprende español :-)
