Nfs does cross country...2018-19

Brilliant effort for a very cold saturday morning, in mansfield! (Physical Education - 08/10/2018)

Well done to all of the pictured students for braving the cold and rain on Saturday morning, to take part in the first round of the Nottinghamshire Schools Cross Country Competition, at Berry Hill Park in Mansfield.

Absolutely brilliant debuts from our Year 7s (special mention to Ema Bowler for being the ONLY year 7 girl to brave the race) and some outstanding second and third appearances from our older year groups.

Huge special mention to our Year 11 girls who were the only girls in the whole of Nottinghamshire County to front a full team to compete, in their age group. Much of this is down to attitude and our girls were outstanding examples of resilience and self-motivation; two of our attitude foci for this year across school...WELL DONE GIRLS and WELL DONE ALL ENTRANTS!
