Year 7

Intent

Our Year 7 curriculum introduces students to the origins of narrative writing, ensuring they gain insight into aspects of oral story-telling, character types and narrative structure. Our Year 7 students begin their journey with Greek mythology, navigate through Victorian England and complete their Year 7 journey with Shakespearean stage craft. At every aspect of their study, we develop confident and curious readers who communicate with purpose.
