Year 10

Intent

The English curriculum in Y10 harnesses the critical skills of inference, analysis and written expression from KS3 study and applies to seminal literature studied at GCSE. Students closely examine narrative, character and the writer’s craft, expressing their thoughts and understanding in academic form.
