Year 9 trip to Spain
Final preparations are being made for the Year 9 Spanish trip to Castellón. Students and staff are extremely excited to meet our partner school and immerse ourselves in Spanish culture for 5 days.
Years 7, 8 & 9 are starting preparation for speaking assessments over the next few weeks and students are feeling very confident about making progress on their current point scores in Spanish. Remember, using flash cards and memorising the questions and answers little and often is the best way to succeed!
Seely Primary visit
Thank you to Bev and to the Seely Primary students who came for an NFS Spanish taster day yesterday. The pupils had a question and answer session with some of our NFS students who were fantastic and then they experienced a year 7 Spanish lesson on the topic of food and healthy eating, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Some of our year 9 students are looking forward to visiting the students at their school in the Summer term to deliver a lesson and to share news about the Spanish trip.
