Y7 & 8 boys first fixture in Italy
The year 7/8 boys played their first fixture against St. Joseph who were an older year 8/9 opposition. The gentlemen worked extremely hard within the first half to come in 1-0 down; definitely deserving more from the effort and commitment they had put in. In the second half, physicality and fitness were definitely the deciding factor with St. Joseph taking an early two goal lead and the game finishing 4-0. This score line does not do our young side justice.
All the boys played amazing and gave it their all. Man of the Match was given to year 7, Max Worth, who put in a mature and calm performance at right back.
